Judy K Suh is an artist, filmmaker, and creative director, focused on experience design and installations.

Judy’s work is motivated by the desire to blend the digital with the physical for an imaginative, memorable experience. Her work have been shown in cultural and commercial contexts around the world, ranging from museums to art spaces, festivals, brand spaces and visitor attractions.

Judy has directed short films that received a Silver Telly Award among others, and screened at over 40 film festivals around the globe. She worked in advertising as an editor before going on a 6-year journey of freelance and commission works across various platforms. Currently she is a creative director at Squint/Opera.

Some of my formative years in S. Korea, attending an “alternative school” (a.k.a. hippie school). She studied film and fine art at Northwestern University, and became interested in Expanded Cinema at the London Slade School of Fine Art, which was influential to her. She trained in the Projection Technology program at the Banff Centre in 2018.
